Jessica Lucas started 2013 on a rather sad note. In April, after some months of co-starring in Cult (which was released on February 19 in 2013) it was pulled from schedule. The rest of the episodes from the show's 13 episodes were shown later that year by the CW network. But it is an awful feeling to have starred in the show that was cancelled so early. A positive was that Jessica's career was seen to be getting better by leaps and bounds. Jessica Lucas starred as Michael B. Jordan's American wife in That Awkward Time, which premiered in early 2014. The problem is that she has been involved in an affair, so she has an advantage. As a movie with a group of friends, most of the plot revolves around the three leading me and I, however Lucas holds her own in every scene she is in. As mentioned earlier, Lucas took over the screen in the brief scenes that she was in the Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. AnnaLynne McCord, ShenaeGrimes and Jessica Stroup all worked on four episodes for the upcoming 90210. The year 2009 saw her cast in the highly-successful reboot of popular 1990s television series Melrose Place as Riley Richmond the sweet teacher at an elementary school.
