Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell was an actress on television, ex-chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and formerly teaches cooking. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides simple and easy to master techniques for home cooks. Burrell is a chef who has been in the kitchen for a long time. Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She also has explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, along with the natural geography. Burrell was born within New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America is where she enrolled following her graduation with an English diploma and Communications diploma in Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment that I was a student in The Culinary Institute of America she declares. It was impossible to take enough enjoyment from it. After graduating Chef Burrell resided in Italy for a whole year taking classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin starred restaurant) located in Tuscany. It was during this time that her experience in Italy has helped her understand and appreciate the Italian tradition and philosophy, and this has left an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that aims to make a difference in children's lives who are facing challenges. She is also a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador who promotes awareness of juvenile diabetes. As a speaker, Burrell is on the road to talk about her love of cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne has stated throughout her culinary career she's grateful to be able be able to share what's essential to her.
